The goals of this website are: |
To introduce you to me, my staff and colleagues; together, we provide care for patients with issues related to the hip and knee joints. |
Provide you with basic and current information about conditions that effect the hip and knee joints and direct you to potential sources of detailed information that might be helpful for your particular situation. |
Describe the types of treatment, both surgical and non-surgical, that can be used to treat hip and knee problems. Many of these treatments have been developed and/or extensively evaluated by me and my colleagues to achieve specific goals (e.g. computer assisted surgery for the knee, minimally invasive hip and knee procedures; total joint implants for patients with metal allergies) that might be relevant to your situation. |
Introduce you to the Institutionas at which I work: Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Northwestern Orthorpaedic Institute, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago |
Provide you with information for contacting me or my colleagues if you wish to make an appointment. |
The successful treatment of hip and knee problems requires careful, knowledgeable evaluation and appropriate and skillfully applied treatment. However, this treatment will not be successful unless the care providers and patient work closely together. The material on this website has been assembled to help prepare you to participate in the successful care of your hip and knee issue.
I and my staff look forward to the opportunity to work with you. |
